The New Edinburgh News is looking for a volunteer Advertising Manager.
Working with the Managing Editor and Production Manager, the Advertising Manager is responsible for liaising with clients, establishing connections with potential new clients from the local business community, arranging for up-to-date ad content, updating the Ad Plan for each edition (five editions per year), and collaborating with the Managing Editor and New Edinburgh News Advisory Board to establish appropriate advertising policies for the paper.
The Ad Manager works with the bookkeeper at the end of each edition to ensure accurate and timely payment of accounts.
Ideally, the new Advertising Manager would start in May 2017 to shadow the outgoing Advertising Manager and have the summer to get prepared for the October 2017 issue.
NEN published five times a year: October, December, February, April and June.
