Holiday Lights Gathering (CCC)

After a few snowfalls, it’s time to get ready for the most wonderful time of the year.  The holidays are around the corner, and with that the Crichton Community Council will be welcoming the holiday season with the annual Holiday Lights gathering on Saturday November 30th from 4 – 7 pm!

In the spirit of sharing, bring finger foods to share with neighbours and non-perishable food items to share with those who are less fortunate

This year’s event will feature:

• The New Edinburgh Community Choir, leading holiday carols from 4 – 7 pm
• A visit from the man in red at 5 pm
• Wagon rides
• Face painting
• Ornament making
• Cozy outdoor fire
• Hot chocolate and mulled wine for sale

The Crichton Community Council would like to make this the first evening of holiday lighting in the neighbourhood.  In the past few years, residents of the neighbourhood have increasingly put effort into illuminating their homes, garages, fences, and yards facing the back lanes. We invite all residents of New Edinburgh to put up lights before the evening of November 30th. Let’s brighten up the long nights with some holiday magic for kids of all ages to enjoy!
