“Dune: Part One” is the first of a two-part science fiction film adaptation of the 1965 science fiction novel of the same name by Frank Herbert. This epic was directed and co-produced by Canadian, Denis Villeneuve.

Set in the distant future, the film follows Paul Atreides as his family, the noble House Atreides, is thrust into a war for the deadly and inhospitable desert planet Arrakis.

Take this opportunity to (re)watch the first film before you go to see Dune: Part 2, currently in theatres.

Rated PG-13 for sequences of strong violence, some disturbing images and suggestive material.
