Crichton Community Council (CCC) meeting
October 21 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
All meetings of the Crichton Community Council (CCC) are open to the public. Please join members of the CCC at our next regular meeting if you are interested in the work of the CCC. We welcome everyone with time and energy to contribute to their community.
Meetings are typically held on the second Monday of each month (except July and August) at 7:30 p.m. in the New Edinburgh Field House at 203 Stanley Avenue. (When the second Monday of the month coincides with a long weekend, meetings are typically moved to the third Monday.) Check this calendar for scheduled meeting times.
The Crichton Community Council (CCC), known as the three-Cs, is a volunteer organization that provides seasonal program and ongoing community service in New Edinburgh. Since its establishment on June 9, 1993, the CCC has worked to enhance New Edinburgh’s sense of community by activating the public spaces in New Edinburgh Park on the bank of the Rideau River. The CCC collaborates with the New Edinburgh Community Association (NECA), the New Edinburgh Community and Arts Centre (NECTAR), and the Rideau Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre (RRCRC).
The CCC acts as the steward of the New Edinburgh Fieldhouse – the hub of the neighbourhood – and the surrounding public spaces, on behalf of the City of Ottawa, in the interest of New Edinburgh residents. For more information go to: crichtoncommunitycouncil.ca
